If it was a pve only game, it would still be cheating but harmless. You would be using a third party device or app to give you an advantage in the game. Thanks to Reddit user /u/IrisFlame for the premade library of crosshairs The developers made a conscious decision to not include cross hairs in the game.

Then select the folder you put the crosshair you want to use in Not bannable my monitor does it and you can always use a bit of bluetac. Then open the program and click Change Image Folder.
Then drag the crosshair image you want to use into that folder. Create a new file and name it whatever you'd like. To use any custom crosshair go into the file crosshairs in the Custom_Desktop_Logo_V2.1 folder.
